New mechanics: Split stadium in Delta Reign
Delta Reign introduces the split stadium mechanic to the English Pokémon TCG. Split stadium cards consist of two halves that both must be in your hand and played at the same time. Each half has its own effect—often one for each player—and both effects are active simultaneously. The mechanic comes from the Japanese Storm Emeralda set and is expected to influence deck building and gameplay.
